Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling I associate him with the sound of falling ash, ch-ch-ch ![]() I could always hear him sort of growling and grumbling Trierarchuncus: (Twitches with anxiety) "Hey! Pachycephalosaurus: "Someone should have invented umbrellas sooner!"Īnkylosaurus: "They were hunting in the rain."ĭenversaurus: "Yet, the herds escaped, oh, wh at a joyous day. Thescelosaurus: "In doing so, he floods their brains!" Anyway, since that and that I've once watched Enchanto with my family one time, I'd thought I'd make this fun meme with all the other dinosaurs from the Saurian game sing "We Don't Talk About Toro," which is inspired and based on the song, "We Don't Talk About Bruno." So, without further ado, let's get after it!ĭakotaraptor: "We don't talk about Toro, no, no, no!ĭakotaraptor: "We were closing in, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky."Īcheroraptor: "No clouds allowed in the sky!"ĭakotaraptor: "Toro walks in with a mischievous grin-"ĭakotaraptor: (To Acheroraptor, annoyed) " You telling this story, or am I?"Īcheroraptor: (To Dakotaraptor) " I'm sorry, Dakota, go on!"ĭakotaraptor: "Toro says, "It looks like rain'!" Yet the difference is that those three had illustrations of them, yet there's almost none of Torosaurus, except maybe for this one: /saur…. There were also three dinosaurs that were considered to be in the game too, yet they also got scrapped out, the three being Alamosaurus, Leptoceratops, and Trierarchuncus. I suspect there are a lot of experts who agree with Cau who don't have blogs.Just a little thought I had in my head since I've found out the game, Saurian (a game about dinosaurs in Hell Creek), had considered having Torosaurus being featured in the game, however it was ultimately scrapped from the game for already being rare in Hell Creek and also absent in Bone Butte ( and maybe perhaps looking a little too similar to Triceratops). This paper is no substitute for a publication that will require rebuttal, but it's still a step up for the Twitter whispers that we'd be getting so far. Given DePalma's past questionable behavior and the fact that he won't let any theropod experts look at the bones, I have qualms accepting the validity of Dakotaraptor. His initial publication did not indicate the nature of the discovery, but after it was found he had mistaken a turtle bone for a fercula (and had named that turtle piece as Dakotaraptor), he republished to exclude the turtle, but threw in a bunch more theropod bones. It really does seem DePalma took a bone bed and threw all the theropod bones as Dakotaraptor. If they're not Dromaeosaurid, that really puts the whole thing into question. Evans cryptically hinted they could be Acheroraptor, but they'd be a big Acheroraptor. The only thing I hadn't seen before is the caudals being questioned. It's poorly preserved, so it's hard to say for sure. It's worth pointing out that Holtz has said it's a common mistake and a Tyrannosaurus hand claw is often confused with Dromaeosaurid sickle claws.ĭavid Evans and others have pointed out the similarity of the femur to Anzu.
